Lucinda Taffs
Lucinda Taffs is a creative director, fashion designer, model and photographer.
Hailing from Sydney, Australia Lucinda studied at University of Technology Sydney graduating with a BA (Fashion Design).
Over the past 15 years Lucinda has been working in the industry traveling and residing in Asia, the UK, Europe. Lucinda is now based in New York.
She has worked for some of the world’s most prestigious brands and publications and has now focused her attention on creative direction and design for Auteur.
"Fashion & design has always been a part of my life and heritage. Auteur was born out of a love of vintage, for creativity and strong women like my Grandmother who love to express themselves through clothes.
While I recognize the contradiction between an industry that runs off consumption and the concept of sustainability, I am focusing on making as many informed choices as possible.
One area of focus on is responsible fabrics at the design stage... Sustainability is a challenge for the industry as a whole and a journey that Auteur is excited to embrace"
